“Full disclosure: I have a love-hate relationship with this place. Athinagoras Kostakos, Head of Culinary Architecture, is a legend - the food is thoughtful, the landscape and setting have been done incredibly well, and the whole place is fun. But it is certainly not cheap; in fact I think it's become overpriced to the point of being ridiculous. The food is very good, but it's not DiverXO or Etxebarri - it's a beach club with cool music, beautiful people and a pretty good wine list. If you've got the money (300 to 400 euro per person without going crazy) and you're spending five days in Mykonos, then yes, book well in advance and experience it. But there's a hell of a lot more great food on this island waiting to be discovered. Mykonos is slowly eating up what made it successful, and Scorpios might be the second-best example of that.”
