Tinos

Tinos is a short ferry from Mykonos but a world apart - rugged, understated and handmade, with more than fifty marble-built villages, Venetian dovecotes and family chapels scattered across the hills. Traditional tavernas and kafeneia sit beside a new generation of design hotels, restaurants and wineries, and the island's serious wine history (revived by producers like T-Oinos) grows on wild granite soil under the meltemi winds.
