Crispy Potato Galette with Beef Tartare
Who doesn’t love potatoes. They are quite possibly the most famous and most utilisied vegetable of the nightshade family. Every place in the world utilises this humble ingredient in endless preparations and recipes. They are my favourite vegetable and my favourite way to cook it is to thinly slice them and roast them in the oven as a galette. You get the beautiful contrast of crispy and tender layers that is addictive. What could make this even better? A perfect assembled beef tartare to go with it. The contrast of hot and cold is absolutely divine. Rich in flavours, textures and all-around goodness that is sure to impress any guests at the dinner table.
