Mango, Mint and Green Smoothie

Method

  1. 1
Add the mango, banana, baby spinach, mint, avocado, protein powder or AG1 powder, and coconut water to a high-speed blender.
  2. 2
Blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the spinach and mint are completely incorporated and the smoothie is creamy.
  3. 3
For a colder, thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  4. 4
Divide the smoothie between two glasses and serve immediately.
...And that's it, enjoy!

Adding the coconut water first helps the leafy ingredients circulate and blend evenly.

Frozen mango or banana will produce a colder smoothie with a thicker consistency.

Use ripe avocado for the smoothest, creamiest result.

Avoid adding too much mint, as its flavour can quickly overpower the fruit.

Add a little more coconut water if the smoothie is thicker than desired.

For extra freshness, add a squeeze of lime juice before blending.

Vanilla or unflavoured protein powder works particularly well in this smoothie.

Check that the protein powder meets your dietary requirements if preparing the smoothie as a vegan, dairy-free or gluten-free option.

Serve immediately to enjoy the freshest flavour and most vibrant green colour.
